• Handling and filleting raw fish. Preparing and making sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, rice, and other sushi ingredients.
• Creating and plating sushi orders and coordinating with servers to ensure efficient flow of orders.
• Greeting and interacting with customers.
• Managing food stock and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Job Type: 2 positions Full-time/Part time

Pay: Full time 5-6 days lunch & dinner shifts. Part time Fri, Sat, Sunday dinner shift. $23-27 with tip out from servers. With good performance, guaranteed pay increase by end of the year. New Hire bonus- $750 FT & $400 PT.

Requirements:

• Two years’ experience as a Sushi Chef
• Good knowledge of various sushi types, sushi-rolling techniques, and knife skills
• Ability to be efficient and multi-task in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Good communication skills and positive attitude with customers and employees
• Self-motivation and ability to be calm under pressure
• Punctual, organized, reliable, and flexible
• Keeps a clean and orderly work station
• Reliable transportation to our location required
• Must be able to speak English

Physical Setting: Fast-paced casual restaurant

Schedule: Flexible schedule. Must be available Friday, Saturday, Sunday evenings

Shifts: Lunch 10:30 to 2:30 pm. Dinner 3:30 to 8:30/9pm

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
